NEW YORK — New York City is gearing up for Halloween with its third annual trick-or-street event.
More than 100 car-free events will be held across the five boroughs to ensure a fun and safe holiday for families. According to the Ministry of Transport, 147 roads will be opened across all five boroughs.
The event will continue until October 31st. The DOT said it is also planning events to celebrate Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) in November.

There are also some signature events with live music, circus acts, clowns, jugglers and more.
