Donald Trump attended a memorial dinner for Al Smith on Thursday, with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and New York Attorney General Letitia James among his friends and foes in attendance. I realized what I was facing.
The Republican presidential candidate, who was accompanied by his wife Melania Trump, was berated by host Jim Gaffigan before giving the keynote address at the Catholic Charities Gala, during which his rival in the election, Kamala Harris, Former President Barack Obama mocked Schumer and sympathized with Mayor Eric Adams. Regarding his latest charges.
President Trump complained about Harris’ absence, but the vice president instead sent a short comedy video featuring comedian Molly Shannon.
“As you listen to Donald Trump speak, it becomes increasingly clear that he has no idea what he’s saying,” Harris said at a rally for supporters in Green Bay, Wisconsin. I don’t understand.”
She also declared that “the American people are tired of his gaslighting,” and kicked out two MAGA activists after they heckled her.
Meanwhile, Fox News host Bret Baier acknowledged an error in the video clip during an interview with Harris this week, but she was able to use it to her advantage.

Trump fires back after Harris asks if she’s ‘exhausted’
Donald Trump’s energy level emerged as a flashpoint Friday as Republican candidate and Democrat Kamala Harris raced through the battleground state of Michigan as Election Day approached.
Harris told reporters ahead of an afternoon rally that Trump was “unfit,” “unstable” and “dangerous to democracy.” But she seemed nervous about her Republican rival when she mentioned reports that President Trump was “exhausted.”
“Being the President of the United States is probably one of the most difficult jobs in the world, and if a president is exhausted during a campaign, he seriously questions whether he is qualified to do the job.” We need to ask that question,” she said, attacking Harris, who has been campaigning since Monday and won’t be back in Washington until next week.

Harris asked about the gender disparity between her supporters and Trump supporters.
Kamala Harris was asked by NBC’s Peter Alexander about the gender disparity between her supporters and Donald Trump’s supporters. A recent opinion poll revealed something.
Peter Alexander: If I could, I’d like to ask you about one of the challenges that the campaign is currently facing. Polls show that the gender gap is currently in the lead, with Donald Trump leading by 16 points, especially among men. why is that? And why do you think there is a rift between you and men now?
Kamala Harris: If you look at this audience, you’ll see that by the 1000s, there were people of all backgrounds and genders. I think it’s because they know I’m going to be a president for all Americans. And that’s how I’m campaigning to get every American out to vote, with less burden on not just their gender, but their geographic location, and who they voted for in the past. This is exactly the kind of moment that some of my most public supporters of late, the Republicans, are putting country before party and once again feeling truly optimistic about the things we hold dear. I think it’s time to fight for what we have.
PA: But just to be clear, men still say they support Donald Trump by a 60% margin. Why do you think that is?
KH: To be honest, it’s not something I have to go through.
PA: Do you think men are getting involved?

Why should counties where the Ku Klux Klan once marched worry about Trump now?
Eric Garcia reports from Cumming, Georgia:
On the surface, former President Donald Trump’s Fox News town hall was the ultimate safe haven as he discussed women’s issues in Georgia earlier this week. Many in the audience were members of local Republican clubs.
The location of City Hall also had historical significance. Fox decided to locate City Hall in a barn in Cumming, about an hour outside of Atlanta. Cumming is the county seat of Forsyth County, an overwhelmingly Republican region that is home to one of the darkest chapters in the South’s history of racial violence.
But beneath the surface, Forsythe reveals why Trump and the Republican Party should be concerned.

Haley is discussing campaign activities with Trump, reports say
The Bulwark newspaper reported that former United Nations ambassador Nikki Haley is in talks to join Donald Trump’s campaign to win support from disaffected Republicans, according to sources familiar with the talks.
Details and dates have yet to be determined, but the most likely scenario is a town hall in late October, perhaps involving Fox News host Sean Hannity.
The former ambassador and governor of South Carolina fought a fierce primary election against Trump, but was the last Republican to run against him.
It didn’t seem like love was lost at the end of the primary, when she spoke on his behalf at the Republican National Convention. The two have not been seen together since then.
Haley is currently appearing on her SiriusXM radio show and said last month, “I disagree with Trump 100 percent.”
“I haven’t forgotten what he said about me. I haven’t forgotten what he said about my husband, about his deployments and military service. I put a birdcage outside my hotel room. , I haven’t forgotten his or his camp’s tactics, even going so far as to call me ‘Bird Brain,”’ Haley said on the show.
Still, she insists she believes President Trump “will make the country better.”
On Fox & Friends this morning, Trump was given a chance to talk about possibly campaigning with her, but instead talked about defeating her in the primary.

Has the “joy” in the Harris camp disappeared?
“Joy” was a word that characterized the early days of the Harris campaign. Today in Michigan, NBC’s Peter Alexander asked Kamala Harris if maybe it’s gone.
PETER ALEXANDER: At the convention, you portrayed yourself as a jovial warrior, but in recent rallies you’ve increasingly attacked President Trump for being unstable and unstable, but that’s not effective. Is it a closing argument?
Kamala Harris: I don’t think it precludes one or the other. Like many people here, I am very optimistic about the future of this country. I think that’s one of the things that’s building our momentum. People really believe in the promise of America and our responsibility to fight for it, and that’s not a contradiction, but they also believe in the danger that Donald Trump poses based on the language he uses and his admiration for dictators. I am fully aware of this. , he says, their failure to truly focus on the needs of the American people, especially workers, is not that they are contradictory. They all exist at the same time.
PA: To those critics who say the joy is gone, you respond:
KH: Yeah, we’re having a great time.
