Payne’s father, Jeff Payne, provided an update on the investigation by the head of Argentina’s National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor’s Office, according to a news release. Jeff Payne has been in Argentina since last weekend, when he visited the hotel where Payne fell to his death.
Prosecutors told Jeff Payne that toxicology reports are still pending. A separate study is also being conducted to examine whether Mr Payne was ill at the time of his death. Those tests, which were performed as part of Payne’s autopsy, must be completed before Payne’s body can be released, officials said.

ABC News and TMZ, citing unnamed sources familiar with the preliminary tests, reported that a partial autopsy found a drug mix called “pink cocaine” that included methamphetamine and ketamine, but authorities have not released any preliminary test results. has not been announced either. test.
