Actor Timothée Chalamet made a surprise appearance at his lookalike contest in New York.
He posed for photos in Lower Manhattan on Sunday with fans and other dead ringers, some dressed as the 28-year-old’s character from the movies “Wonka” and “Dune.”

But when the Chalamet wannabes began competing on the red carpet in New York’s Washington Square Park, police ordered the group to disperse.
The organizers were fined $500 (£385) for an “unauthorized costume contest” and at least one person was taken away in handcuffs.
The group reconvened at a nearby playground, where more than a dozen contestants competed for the audience’s approval on a makeshift stage.

After narrowing the group down to the final four, the remaining participants took tests on a variety of topics.
They were asked about their proficiency in French, their plans to make the world a better place, and their romantic intentions with Kylie Jenner. Chalamet and Jenner are said to be a couple.
In the end, Miles Mitchell, 21, from Staten Island, was named the winner, taking home a $50 (approximately £38) prize in the form of a novelty-sized check drawn out to “Best Tim.” did.
