Bowdoin College Democrats and Bowdoin College Conservatives have announced that they will hold the third and final debate for U.S. Senate candidates in Maine on Saturday, November 2nd.
The debate will be held at Bowdoin College’s Kresge Auditorium, 239 Main St., Brunswick, starting at 6 p.m. Demi Kouzonas, David Costello and Jason Cherry confirmed their attendance. The request to Sen. Angus King Jr. was still pending as of Thursday.
The debate, a collaboration between Bowdoin College Democrats and Bowdoin College Conservatives and sponsored by Bowdoin College’s Department of Government Law and the McKean Center for Public Interest, aims to increase voter turnout among Maine’s students and youth. That’s what I mean.
Debate is planned, organized and moderated by students. All questions were written by students to address issues specific to students and youth prevalent in this election. The livestream will be available at all universities in the state, and students at each of these universities will have the opportunity to submit questions to candidates.
